Site Details, Sandy Hook
Located approximately 8 kms to the west of Bundaberg city centre at the end of Branyan Drive is the beautiful "Sandy Hook" reach of the Burnett River. A fresh water, non-tidal waterway with natural elevated viewing banks, Sandy Hook is naturally brilliant for this event.
Spectators can enjoy a fantastic family weekend. The river bank is transformed for the weekend, providing food and drink vendors, licensed bar areas, children’s entertainment, PA commentary, free parking and corporate marquees. Some grandstand seating is available, but guests are encouraged to bring fold up chairs and broad rimmed hats.
